The building is designed to expand research and teaching capacity in fields such as engineering, computer science, and the physical sciences. Once complete, it will house modern laboratories, classrooms, and collaborative spaces meant to support both students and faculty. Administrators say the project reflects growing demand for programs tied to technology and innovation.
The tour highlighted key features of the layout, including open areas for group work and dedicated lab space for hands-on instruction. Crews are continuing work on the interior and exterior, with the schedule still pointing to a spring 2027 debut. University leaders describe the building as a significant investment in the campus and in the region's future workforce.
